Homematic IP window handle sensor
The Homematic IP window handle sensor is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and detects whether a window is open, tilted or closed. Due to the slim design, the innovative sensor can be installed under the existing window handle in just a few simple steps. Thanks to the radio communication and the battery power supply, there is no need to make any changes to the windows or frames. Once installed, the sensor detects the position of the handle in both the left and the right direction. In addition to triggering an alarm, the window handle sensor can also be used in conjunction with the Homematic IP heating control. When the window is tilted or open, the heat supply to the radiator is then reduced, which saves valuable energy.
